Cypress Moreno & Kalan.frfr connect for "Call Me"
Updated: Dec 22, 2020
With 2020 finally coming to an end, Cypress Moreno closes the year out with one
last single titled “Call Me” with fellow Los Angeles singer/rapper Kalan.FrFr. The two, both a
part of the new wave of talent that is coming out of Los Angeles are currently on fire.
Cypress made the Billboard charts twice this summer; most recently he produced and is
featured on Shoreline Mafia’s “Gas.” Gas is the most streamed song across all platforms for
the deluxe version of “Mafia Bidness.” Kalan has also made his presence felt with his (First
Class Ent/Roc Nation) single “Scoring” as it was played throughout the 2020 NBA
Playoffs/Championship and is steadily climbing the radio rhythmic charts.
From a great friendship to touring the U.S. together, the collaboration between the two is a long time coming. Written by Kalan, with production by Cypress, co-production from Robtwo, additional guitar composition from Peyote and mixing & mastering done by Cypress’ manager Chris Muñoz; “Call Me” sets the tone aggressively for what we are now entering, cuffing season.
This latest single which is being released through CVTCXXII (CATCH 22) [ran by Cypress and
his manager] puts an exclamation point to a very unprecedented year. From releasing their first single the weekend of COVID-19 shutdown to major placements and Billboard Charts, 2021 looks to be a very promising year for the DJ/Producer and record label.
