Drakeo the Ruler drops deluxe edition of "We Know the Truth" mixtape

Since being released from prison in early November, Drakeo the Ruler has re-established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the L.A. rap scene with his project We Know the Truth. Earlier today, Drakeo released a 7-track deluxe featuring the likes of Lil Mosey, Sean Kingston, and Ohgeesy.

Prior to the release of the project, the 26-year-old rapper was serving time for "shooting from a motor vehicle with a gang enhancement," according to Pitchfork. However, the source of controversy surrounding his case concerned the charge of "criminal gang conspiracy" against him. Drakeo said in an interview with NPR:

"You don't have to be involved. You don't have to know nothing. You just have to be a gang member. But then the twist is that my group is my gang? Come on, bro."

However, the rapper's jail stint didn't stop him from releasing two projects prior to his most recent mixtape. March 2nd's Free Drakeo and June 5th's Thank You For Using GTL are revered by his die-hard fanbase. The standout from the projects was "I Could Never" featuring the now-disbanded SOB X RBE.
