Atlanta producer JayUncut is diving into the New Year with a project that will take his career to the next level. Catching his first break in 2007 with artist Regina Belle, the Atlanta producer has since worked with several mainstream and independent artists landing him a deal with Sony ATV Music Publishing. It’s his most recent work with breakout artist Rubi Rose that has the producer on people’s radar. Together they worked on her debut mixtape titled “For The Streets” which was released last month. The mixtape features eight tracks in which four were produced by the Atlanta native, including their most popular track together, “He In His Feelings.” JayUncut teases that his next project will be one of his own and will be his biggest hit yet.

Over the past decade, JayUncut has been working on building his empire in the music industry. However, he admits music has always been in his blood. At a young age, seeing his father who was a pastor who also enjoyed making music was a huge inspiration to him. Ultimately pushing him to learn how to play drums and piano during the time he spent in church. The Atlanta producer recalls a conversation with his late father that constantly reminds him to keep moving forward.

“My dad is my motivation,” Uncut revealed. “He got me into this life and when he suddenly passed away, his last conversation to me was to go hard, take this gift to the next level. So as he’s sitting up guiding and protecting me, I’m going to honor his requests.”

In fact, the Atlanta producer has goals to become a music executive at a major label before eventually starting his own. Without a doubt ,JayUncut has what it takes to achieve his goals due to his loyalty and admiration for up-and-coming artists.

“I have a love for independent artists," Uncut said. "They say I have the most organized beat pack in the industry. And I usually give it away. Like literally send the link to anybody who wants it.” He explained, “Of course business is handled once you record to any beats but I try to stay accessible to artists who are trying to come up.”

JayUncut says the next level awaits as he is preparing to drop a project of his own. He confirmed his next project is currently in the works and will feature tracks from various artists he’s discovered and worked with in the past. Although 2020 was a life-changing year for the Atlanta producer, Uncut says that 2021 will be even bigger.
