R&B artist JoJo recently shared a short clip of her latest music video via Instagram for her song, "Small Things."

"Small Things," is one of nine songs on her most recent album, Good to Know, which dropped May 1st. The song is an elegant ballad about holding in emotions and pretending to be okay. Good to Know is also JoJo's first full-length project created under her own record label, Clover Music.

Upon the release of the "Small Things," video, JoJo shared a message explaining her intentions and clearing up any misunderstandings about the nature of the release.

"With everything going on in the world and in our own backyard, I didn’t want anyone to misconstrue its release as some kind of indication that I’ve moved on from the revolution at hand, here in America."

In the message, JoJo also explains that she credits the black community for "making her who she is."

"Not only my longest-standing friendships, but also the record executives, mentors, teachers, romantic partners, and loyal fans who believed in me and took a chance on me - they have all shaped me," the message reads.

She ended her statement by giving her never-ending support to the Black Lives Matter movement.

My support for Black lives/art/love/safety/freedom is not a phase nor does it have an expiration date.
