Earlier this week, Juice WRLD’s first posthumous album, Legends Never Die, was scheduled to be released Friday at midnight.

Prolific artist and entertainer also known as Jarrad Higgins, died December of 2019 at the age of 21. Within his career, Juice released two solo albums: Goodbye & Good Riddance and Death Race for Love. He also collaborated with Future on joint album, WRLD on Drugs.

Shortly after his death, Juice WRLD’s mother, Carmela Wallace, created the Live Free 999 Fund which will support the youth in their battles with mental health and addiction. Grade A and Interscope Records will work with Live Free 999 and provide them with additional support.

A quote from Ms. Wallace reads:

“Young people around the world were truly touched by Jarad’s music because he spoke to issues and situations in his music that resonated with them so deeply.”

This album serves to honor the life of Juice WRLD and his influence within the music industry. According to a statement posted on Juice WRLD’s Instagram, the project will feature a collection of 15 songs that best represent the music Juice was in the process of making.
