M-16 TheGreat releases the nostalgic visuals for "The Vibez"
M-16 TheGreat is back with brand new vibes for the new year. The visual for "The Vibez" has a retro 90's feel to it as M-16 dawns a Coogi sweater, matching Pumas, a notorious pair of Versace shades and a bottle of champagne clutched by his right hand. Konami Homi does a masterful job of interpolating Dr. Dre and Knoc-Turn'al's 2001 classic "Bad Intentions" hook with a modern feel crooning "All I really know is yo b*tch wants to be with me, and she ain't playing, and what I'm saying is, it's just the vibes, the vibes the vibes". The director Money Shot Cris brings the sultry song to life with vivacious scenes filled with beautiful women of all shades and shapes being serenaded by the artists. A. Cain contributes a slow, syrupy verse, using what Houston natives would call a Screw-Voice providing another infusion of vibes to the party.
"The Vibez" is a single from M-16's 2020 project 'Mr. Consistency', which was a compilation of his best tracks released in the past year and a nod to his relentless approach to music, putting out content weekly, whether it be a freestyle, visual or single. In 2021, he looks to capitalize on the buzz he's amassed in the past year which saw his videos get placed on WorldStarHipHop, along with other major publications.
