Teyana Taylor releases new album on Juneteenth

The Album is now available on streaming platforms everywhere.

Teyana Taylor officially released her new project titled The Album this Friday, June 19. The project features artists such as Erykah Badu, Missy Elliot, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Rick Ross, and more.

Teyana’s last track “How You Want It?” featuring King Combs and “Wake Up Love,” featuring Iman also appeasr on The Album.

An Instagram post from Teyana reveals the tracklist for the project, and fans are eager to listen to what she has to say.


In a personal essay published on Billboard, Teyana wrote about why her album was released specifically on June 19 (Juneteenth).


“I've always been about us being celebrated and celebrating my culture and my people,” she wrote. “For everything to happen, from my album getting delayed and it falls perfectly on Juneteenth, yes, it's a celebration.”
